Im trying to export an image I've created in keynote, not the entire slide. Does anyone know how to do this?

I am trying to create a sticky note message for our company website. I thought I could just download an image of a sticky note into keynote and type in a text box over the top and save the image I've created. I can't seem to just save/export the image. Keynote will only allow me to save the entire slide. Any suggestions how to just save the image I've created?
