What does it mean "The email server didn’t recognize your username/password combination." and how can I fix this?

I'm trying to share a picture in iPhoto and I keep getting the message "The email server didn’t recognize your username/password combination." What does this mean and how can I fix it?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

iPhoto Menu ->

Preferences ->

Accounts ->

Delete and recreate your email settings.

Alternatively, use Apple's Mail for the job. It has Templates too - and more of them.
