May 26, 2013 8:32 PM in response to EricTheR3dby EricTheR3d,Well just FYI, but I feel like an idiot. For some reason I had NetLimiter set to limit itunes to 5KB/s, so I bet it was the lack of bandwidth causing the problem for me. Once I turned off that limit, it worked fine.

Jun 6, 2013 2:41 PM in response to Mosaicrogoby live4plur,i had peerblock running...i realized that any program, in my case peerblock, that is blocking http connections and/or certain firewall restrictions may prevent the istore from working. after disabling peerblock it worked just fine.hope this helps!

Sep 20, 2013 9:21 AM in response to Mosaicrogoby Bado,I had the same problem. Here is what worked for me: log in with a different account and switch back.
I have several Apple accounts and use my old gmail-address for all the iTunes purchases. Tried to log in with no success.
Then I tried my icloud-account and was able to log in instantly. Logged out and tried the old gmail-account and logged in successfully.
Juchuu (like the Germans would say)!!!

Sep 21, 2013 10:29 AM in response to Mosaicrogoby Brocton,Make sure your computer is authorized! This will also happen if you changed your apple ID password but have not signed on to ITunes since you changed your password. Click on Store on your Itunes menu tab and select autohorize this computer, enter your password and try again. It will say your computer is already authorized, but that was not the issue if it was a password change.
