Getting stills out of a movie

I am very inexperienced/inept at using QT Pro so please be patient with me.

I need to regain the stills I originally put into a QTime movie. Is it possible?

Also because my stills were so large the movie is playing very big (even at half size) and I cannot reach the corner drag in the lower right hand side. It just slips back into its' original position on the screen. Is it possible to reduce the size of the player any other way beside using the RH corner drag.
