IOS 5.0 over IOS 4.0

Can anyone please tell me about the extra main features of IOS 5.0 over IOS 4.0, which makes the users to go for development in IOS 5.0 ?

You're kidding right.

That is so old hardly anyone uses it anymore (there have been studies done).

I consult the What's New in iOS pages to discover changes and new features in each version. According to this, iOS 5 added iCloud APIs, ARC, Storyboards, etc.
