The movie is displayed in the library under the "movies" section, but there is actually no movie section in the "purchase list" of my account in itunes store.

Since movies are not available for re-downloading, you will not see a section for them in the Purchases area of the iTunes Store. The only purpose for that section is to allow re-downloading. If you want to see confirmation on purchase of your movies, look at your Purchase History:

    Not all content has been licensed for re-downloading in all countries at this time. You can see what content you can download here:

     

    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085

     

    If movies aren't listed for your country, then you cannot re-download your movies without repurchasing them.

    Thank you very much for the message.

     

    The country is switzerland and movies cannot indeed be redownloaded for that country.

     

    However, I then bought the movie directly with my macbook on itunesstores.

     

    So my objective now is not to redownload.

     

    I do see the movie I bought in the macbook library under the movies section.

     

    But when I look at my purchase list in itunesstores I still do not have a "movie" section displayed.

     

    I am wondering if there is a problem with my itunes software, although I re installed the latest version yesterday just in case...
