I have the ipod touch 4th generation. My middle button doesnt work, i have to press it like 8 or 9 times before i can acctually get it too work. My ipod is less than a year old i dont use it that much, just too facetime, message people and go on a couple of games. How do i get this fixed?

Assuming you mean the Home button (the round one with the square on it)
Try doing a hard reset: Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/wake button simultaneously for about 15 seconds and release when the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't solve the issue, you could also try backing up the device and restoring the device as new.

NB: set up as a NEW device because a software issue will be in the backup. If the issue persists after restoring as new, you should offer the device for service.

Using his article will erase everything on the device, so make sure you have a backup!

- If you have iOS 5 and later you can turn on Assistive Touch it add the Home and other buttons to the iPods screen. Settings>General>Accessibility>Assistive Touch
- If not under warranty Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for:

Yours should be under warranty so would simply make the appointment. If your iPod is defective, within warranty and not abused Apple will exchange it at not cost.
