How do I import a .png file to iphoto?
iMac (20-inch Early 2008), Mac OS X (10.7.5)
I asked the wrong question. I received a photo by email and want to save into iphoto. When I click on the image and try to save iphoto is not one of the available locations. What am I doing wrong?
I am trying to use an app that imports only from Photos App. I need to use .PNG files so that I can layer a few files on top of each other however when I import a PNG file into Photos it loses the transparent background and gives me a white background. Hence the question again, 3 years after the original post...Can Photos import .PNG files and keep the transparency?
Same as any other image file. Import command, drag and drop etc.
What happens when you do?
Save to the desktop and then import from there - save to iPhoto is not currenty available
