I have followed the procedures to activate iMessage and FaceTime on IPAD.  I have entered my Apple ID and password and I identifed the email i wish to use. 


I am then informed to check email, however.... there is NO email.  Is there a  fix for this.

iPad 2, iOS 6.1.3
