Is iMac's Wi-Fi 2.4Ghz and/or 5Ghz?

What speed is my iMac using? I found out my iPhone 4S will only work on 2.4Ghz. But can't figure out how ti=o find out on the New iMac.

It is both and neither. It all depends on what type, Ghz, WiFi you are connecting to. Now if your Mac is older it may only have a 2.4Ghz WiFi card installed but all newer models can connect to either 2.4 or 5.

I solved my own question by finding another post. The Option+Click on wifi icon upper right of screen. I found out my router can do 1 or the other but not both at the same time. =( My iPhone 4S can only do 2.4Ghz, Haven't checked iPad /Ret yet) so I guess I I'm stuck with 2.4 until I can afford a router that can do both. Currently have the Lynksys WRT320N.
