My home button isn't working!

So I know there's a lot of fixes out there, and I've tried most of them. Pressing and twisting doesn't work, holding the button and rotating it doesn't work, and recalibrating worked for 2 button presses and I tried it at least 4 times. Earlier today I restored my Ipod and then uploaded my backup, and nothing happened. I'm not going to take it apart, and I really don't want to use the rubbing alchohol trick. What stinks is that I can't afford to replace it or get it fixed and we never got a warranty. I've had it for almost two years now and haven't damaged it. What can I do?
