Q: Hello I have a Netgear R4500 router and connected to Dell 1720 laser printer. Question how can i print from my iphone 5?

need some in configuring to print from iphone 5 to dell 1720 using r4500 router

dell 1720, iOS 6.0.2

    There shouldn't be any configuring necessary.

     

    As long as your iPhone and printer are both connected to the same wireless network it should just work.

     

    Go to the picture/document you want to print, select the options button (usually looks like a square with an arrow coming out of it) and you should have an option to 'print' or something along those lines.

     

    If the option is not coming up, and you're sure they're both connected to the same network, then it's possible that Dell and apple don't like each other. I seem to remember hearing that Airprint may only work with HP printers?
