iPhone 4S IOs 6.1.3 broke wifi and bluetooth

I am just heading of to the O2 shop with wife's phone.

Symptoms. wifi on-off is greyed out.

Bluetooth spinner of doom permanently.

Reset from settings > doesn't work.

Restore >likewise

Restore to Factory > doesn't work

Hard reset doesn't work

My iPhone 4 sits happily on 6.0 with no problems. I am not going anywhere near the upgrade that iTunes keeps nagging me about.

Well, unless your phone is under warranty you will get no help from Apple.

btw, a software update can cause a hardware issue. For example, if software accidently caused a temperature sensor in the phone to be ignored and consequently something over heated.
