This is the second charger i have and right where you plug into the phone, is breaking or coming loose. I never had this issue with my iphone 4 charger. I feel like these new chargers are junk.. and i dont have the money to keep dishing out to get a new one.

Nope. Mine are both working and holding up just fine.
Yes my charger broke in the same place. The wires split and half the time it doesn't charge. I've had every other iphone and haven't had any issues until now.
Mine are still intact and working just fine. However, it is covered by Applecare+. Just take it into an Apple Store.
It is covered by WARRANTY in first 12 months nothing to do with Applecare +

I did forget that there is a standard warranty for the first 12 months.
