Q: changed id but it still shows old one

I changed my user ID but the ipad still shows the old one.  How to I fix that?

    To change the iTunes Apple ID use Settings > iTunes & App Stores Touch the Apple ID shown, select Sign Off and then sign in with the desired Apple ID.

     

    However, note that Apps are tied to the Apple ID which which they were purchased so that you may be asked for the old Apple ID if you try to update an App.

    yeah so the question for me now is how do i change that??

    ive changed the my id and it keeps asking me for the old one... please help

    After spending an hour and a half on the phone with support, no help at all, I finally figured it out myself.  It took me all day and I am NOT computer savy, but I figured it out from this starting point: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5223

     

    I realized I had to log out of everything I was logged in to and through apple susport tutorials online, I found my way to every answer to every question.  The answers are all out there.  Be patient and stick with it.  Yesterday evening I was ready to throw in the towel, but I finally got everything to line up.
