I can't find the orginal serial number for my Final Cut Express 4 HD

I own Final Cut Express and installed on our iMac several years back. A few years ago we upgraded to the Final Cut Express 4 HD version. We now have the new iMac and I transferred the contents of the old computer to the new computer during the setup of the new iMac. When it came to reinstalling Final Cut Express 4 HD it is asking for the new AND original serial numbers. I do not have the original serial number. Where can I find it? I have the old computer still, but it too only has the upgrade serial number. Is there anyway to find the original serial number?

imac 4, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

The original serial number would be on the packaging that the original Final Cut came in. Apple usually put the serial number on the envelope the DVD was in and sometimes on the Quick Install guide. But look at all the pacakaging if you still have it.

If you can't find those one other possibility is to look here Pro Application Replacement Serial Numbers

Apple's instructions and requirements for obtaining a new serial number.

good luck
