I'm guessing you are referring to an iCloud account on a device? If so, you have to delete the iCloud account, and sign back on with your new AppleID. The correct information will then be propogated.

If you changed your Apple ID before deleting your iCloud account with the old ID, then you will need to do the following:
1. Go to Manage Your Apple ID - https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and change your ID back to the old one (the same one that your iCloud account ID is). This is only a temporary change so you do not need to verify the email address - just change and save the ID
2. Go to Settings>iCloud and click Delete at the bottom of the screen. It will ask for a password to turn off Find My iPhone - use your current password to do that, then delete the iCloud account
3. Go back into Manage Your Apple ID and change your Apple ID back to the new ID
4. Go back to Settings>iCloud and sign into iCloud with you new ID
You should be all set!
Cheers,
