i keep getting a syntax error when I try to carry out a calculation in numbers
When I multiply three numbers using formula and then try to divide the answer by 100 I keep getting a syntax error

what format are your cells in that contain the original numbers? Make sure they are in a number format (currencym etc..), and you should be good.
If you can give some more data, maybe a screenshot, we might be able to assist better.
