After the last update of OX Aperture ask for a serial number. But i haven´t a serial number! what should i Do? Please help me!

How did you originally purchase Aperture?

You can get a serial number via Pro App Support.

If you bought it the Mac App Store it shouldn't be asking for a serial number.

If you bought from the Apple Site with your web browser disregard these instructions.

What I would try:

Move Aperture (the application) from the Applications folder to the Desktop.

Log into the MAS using the same Apple ID you used to originally purchase Aperture.

Do a fresh download and install

If Aperture works now trash the version you moved to the Desktop.

If not post back

I try to move to desktop but it only creates an alias.

Hold down the command ⌘ -key while you drag Aperture from the Applications folder. This folder is specially protected.

Well I was able to drag it to the trash and am reloading now from app store.

I also sent Apple a message to give me the serial number. Still wonder why this problem comes up. Have had the app for almost a year and have updated regularly.

Well that worked. Trashed my serial number version and redownloaded from App Store. Still seams kind of strange. And where is Aperture 4???
