In the "Copy music to new computer" step, I can't see iTunes folder on my iPod "drive". Why not?

I am trying to move music from my old iPod to my new computer. I follow the steps listed, but I cannot see the iTunes folder on my iPod 'drive'. Any suggestions?

iPod nano, Windows 7

I may have misunderstood, but the iTunes folder will only be there if you have copied it from your old computer to the iPod first. If you no longer have the old computer seeRecover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device,
