Q: I can't print from my ipad to epson xp405

Just because a printer is Wi-Fi enabled doesn't mean the printer supports printing via AirPrint. This Apple support page lists all printers that support AirPrint.

Assuming your Epson is on the same WiFi network as your iPad, and properly (wirelessly) configured, try this:

Download the (free) Epson iPrint app from the App Store.  Use it to find your printer.  Assuming it finds it, choose "Maintenance" (from the bottom of the iPrint app), then Printer Settings, then Firmware Update.  Cycle power on your printer and router.  By then, AirPrint should work.

My bonjour service name is simply the name of my printer (Epson WorkForce 645), and my bonjour location is blank.

My top priority protocol says Port9100.
