Apr 18, 2013 5:10 PM in response to llmeansby Allan Sampson,Nothing can transfer to an iPhone or sync with an iPhone by itself without manually selecting options under the various tabs for the iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
With your iPhone connected to iTunes on your computer and available under Devices in the iTunes source list, select your iPhone under Devices in the iTunes source list to make the various tabs for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes available in the main iTunes window.
This is covered in the iPhone user guide.
