im confuse on how to change the home name of my mac?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

Open the Users & Groups pane of System Preferences, unlock it, control-click your account, choose Advanced Options, and change it there.

Are you referring to your login account's name that attaches to your Home folder?
