Can't get itunes with windows 8

I have recently purchased a new computer using Windows 8, and can't download iTunes on it. I had a few issues with itunes on my old computer (which is why i updated), but i still can't seem to find itunes on new computer, or even old computer now. When i click the 'download'button, it takes me to a new page saying 'thank you for downloading'....but not actually downloading. My iTunes account is active as i can still use it fine on my iphone, but just can't use it on my computer, which is very annoying. Why can't i download and use iTunes on my new computer??? Please help.
