I have just downloaded an updated of an App and a few moments later  I received the following email:

 

Your Apple ID, xxx.yyy@abc.co.uk, was just used to download Premier Inn. from the App Store on a computer or device that had not previously been associated with that Apple ID.

 

If you initiated this download, you can disregard this email. It was only sent to alert you in case you did not initiate the download yourself.

 

If you did not initiate this download, we recommend that you go to iforgot.apple.com to change your password, then see Apple ID: Tips for protecting the security of your account for further assistance.

This email doesn't make any sense as I downloaded the App to my iPhone that I have had for over 1 year so is a device very much associated to the Apple ID.

 

Is this problem linked to the Youtube App that now seems not to work that lots of people seem to be having problems with? ie you cannot sign in (username and id not authenticated message).

 

Any thoughts  / input very welcome.
