Change to Malaysian App Store
1. Tap "Settings"
2. Tap "iTunes & App Stores"
3.Tap "View Apple ID"
4. Enter your user name and password.
5. Tap "Country/Region."
6. Tap "Change Country/Region"
7. Select the region where you are located.
8. Tap "Done".
Diavonex, what you recommend changes the location of the iTunes and App stores, not the language. You can only use the country's stores in the country you are physically located.

I'm having the same issue! Apple have to take this seriously! Bahasa Malaysia is our official language but it's not the primary language for everyone! This is very avoiding and a lot people having difficulties to understand Bahasa Malaysia!
PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK TO ENGLISH!

😝 Give Apple a feedback and tell them to change their Language in Malaysia to English.
A temporary work around.
Settings>General>International>Region Format>Change to Singapore (this should change from Malay to English)
This is ridiculous, how could Apple made such a stupid mistake! I came from China and now working in Malaysia and I bought iPhone 4S from online shop, my App Store and iTunes Store was in English and it suddenly change to Malay language! What makes you think I can understand Malay language if I am a foreigner? Please take note English is the official language of Malaysia, at least provide both Malay and English for the App Store and iTunes Store! I hope everyone facing the same problem can make complains to Apple therefore they can notice about this and do the necessary!

I sent a complaint to apple support few minutes ago, honestly this is very stupid decision making and design, just don't understand why the development team and system analyst be so short sighted, Malaysians not only know 1 language and unfortunately not all Malaysians good in Malay as well.
Change the region is not a solution, don't forget the billing address is in Malaysia when make the payment in app store.
