Factory reset/wipe new iMac (2013)

I need to wipe my new iMac and all data, including passwords, ID's etc. But how? I'm giving it to someone and need to ensure everything is clear and not recoverable.

As there is no CD drive, I do have an external CD drive.

Software = OS X 10.8.3 (12D78)

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

Reboot holding Command R, use Disk Utility to erase then reinstall.

So can disk utility reinstall everything itself, seeing these dont have any CD drive?

The Installer will reload the rest of the files from Apple's servers. No disks are required or used.
