Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

Does the TTest() function in Numbers give you the p-value? Or does it give you the calculated T-value that you must then go compare it T table with degrees of freedom etc.?

If it is the latter then does anyone know if that fucntion has problems because it keeps producing extremely low numbers that are no where near the critical numbers in a T-value chart.

From the Numbers built-in help:

TTEST


The TTEST function returns the probability associated with a student’s t-test, based on the t-distribution function.

Hello


The TTEST() function appears to return the p-value of the specified t-test.


Numbers function guide is rather useless in finding precise definition of each mathematical function. If only it gives the exact formula representation of functions rather than vague and inaccurate commentaries.
