I have a macbook pro non retina, and I wanna know, there is any problem if I take my computer turned on into my backpack actually is not a ssd disk thanks

Never put the computer into a backpack while it is turned on. It can overheat and damage components. You could also damage the hard drive. Turn it off whenever you are traveling with it in any sort of carrier.

it's fine if you leave it on.......i keep mine turned on while travelling with my macbook in my laptop bag and have had no issues.

if however, you plan on running around or jogging - it's better to turn it off.

but leaving it on will not hurt it.

isnt it bad for the hard drive as it has moving parts? also when it is sleeping does that count as on or off?

You shouldn't move the computer when it's turned on because the hard drive may get damaged. When your computer is in sleep mode, the battery provides the energy which OS X needs, but the hard drive isn't being used. Anyway, you should turn off your computer
