My son's ipad is frozen - says there is not enough storage in icloud to back up the device. I deleted icloud storage through another device but this doesn't seem to have solved the problem. Any suggestions?

Resetting the iPad usually solves this issue.
To reset, hold down the home and power buttons at the same time. Continue to hold them until the Apple logo appears.
