Re-downloading a movie

Hi,

So my old ipod (2nd gen) does not have the iCloud system on it because the update goes as far as 4.2 and I downloaded a movie from digital copy onto iTunes then onto my old iPod. As time went on I had to clear everything on my computer with the downloaded movie onto a new computer. That new computer claims to have the movie i downloaded but not the files for the actual movie. I then got a new iPod (5th gen update: 6.1 with iCloud) and now i want that movie i have on my old ipod transfered onto my new ipod. How do I revive the files for the movie without erasing or doing anything risky?

Thanks to whoever answers this question! I know its a hard one but please ask clarifying questions if you need to because i would love to figure this out! Thanks again!
