Q: New ipad 3 and new ipad camera c kit with flashdrive error too much power msg

I have recently boughtb a new ipad 3 wifi/cellular  & ipad camera connection kit

I have formatted all 8 of my flashdrives into fat32, & made a DCMI folder inside each USB flashdrive

I have watched loads of videos & everyone seems to be able to do the above procedure & when they connect their flashdrives into the cck USB connecter

They seem to be able to see all their photos etc

But I am not having any luck ,all I get is error msg that too much power needed or similar msg

Please can someone help me & advise me what to do to get this to work !

If I  need a power USB hub which defeats the object, can anyone tell me if I can obtain one from pc world UK & maybe how much the cheapest one is?

Also will I be able to put my flashdrive pics etc back onto my mac whilst the drives are fat 32 format

Sorry but I'm real confused & need help

Many thanks

A lot of flashdrives require more power than is supplied to the camera kit. Do you have any SD cards that you could use with the kit instead ?

If you copied the pictures onto the flashdrive from your Mac then you should be able to copy them back off the flashdrive to your Mac
