Has anybody heard of the app c_pro?

If it's in the Apple App Store, it's not malware.

If you don't have the app, why are you being offered the update? Is your phone jailbroken? If so, we can't help you here

I have the exact same thing. It isn't an app that is in the App Store as far as I can tell. I'm not going to download it.

I found it in the app store with the same logo!

Looks like a sales app mimmicking craigslist, but when you read the description it says to only download if you are 17 pr older and then all about how it contains nudity and so on.

It doesn't contain nudity. All those warning regarding content are there only because the app has no control over what might be displayed when you use it, as the content is whatever people have posted on Craigslist. You will see the same warnings on any browser app.

I'm very skeptical of this as I'm sure I didn't download/'buy' this app earlier and I've got the same update message. Could this be somebody gaming the App Store ?

I removed the Craigslist app from my iPhone and reopened the App store. Once it refreshed, the c_pro update was gone.

Yeah, it looks like it's the new cpro Craigslist update, completely changed its logo with minimal explanation. It does look like a suspicious software- totally agree.

What's also weird is that CPro now offers 2 different Craigslist apps, you should check them out and then decide to update the old or replace with their new one - purple logo with grey background. I recommend replacement with this new one.

Thanks, I apparently had the same Craigslist app, but I am happy enough to just remove it. If they can't be bothered to describe their update, especially when changing the icon to something so non-descript, I don't need it.
