Can Pages open older documents created with Apple Works?

Pages can't open AppleWorks documents, so you have to export them first with AppleWorks to a file format that Pages opens. Read > https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-2522

mende - you are wrong. Pages can open AW 6 word processing documents!!!! without exporting a AW doc to a AW doc.
