Whenever I look at my music on my phone I have all kinds of music in my app. I want to delete it because it is tied to a different apple id. However when I plug my phone into my mac.... the music isnt there when I look at itunes.

If you have Sync Music selected under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, you can deselect Sync Music followed by a sync which should remove all music from your iPhone. Follow this by reselecting Sync Music making your selections below for the music that is in your iTunes library that you want transferred to your iPhone followed by a sync.

Its the same apple id..... But the mac is new.
We used to have a pc and when we did we had 3 different people with diffrent Ids sharing the same pc..... so now that I say that out loud it was a different ID..... but how do I get it off

Already answered - when selecting Sync Music under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes if not already selected, you should be provided a warning this will delete all music from your iPhone. The same if Sync Music is already selected when deselecting Sync Music. After selecting Sync, this will remove all music from your iPhone. Follow this by reselecting Sync Music making your selections below to transfer the music on your iTunes library to your iPhone.
If none of your music is in your iTunes library, there is an additional step before the answer provided.
Some of the music is in my itunes.... but alot of it is not....
To transfer your music from your iPhone to your Mac that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes Store with your Apple ID - the Apple ID your computer is authorized with iTunes, with the iPhone connected and without syncing at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.
Ok I'm trying to tranfer from the iphone.
When I do that on my iphone pops up asking me for the passwords to the other apple IDs that were on the old PC.... I dont know those passwords(and dont have a way of getting them)

Were you asked for your Apple ID to transfer music that was purchased/downloaded with your Apple ID?
If so, there is no way to cancel the prompts for the other Apple IDs to just transfer content that was purchased with your Apple ID?
If not, you can redownload music purchased from the iTunes Store with your Apple ID - do this with iTunes on your Mac.
After you have re-downloaded all music that was purchased with your Apple ID with iTunes on your Mac, follow the instructions already provided to remove all music from your iPhone first.

yes I was asked.... I understand why I'm getting the prompt .... I just want to prevent getting it anymore. I want to get rid of the music that is causing the prompt.
