Strange error message from Palm Desktop 4.2.1

I'm using Palm Desktop 4.2.1 and Missing Sync to sync my LifeDrive. Since I had problems with the calendar categories I deleted some preferences of the Palm software and installed it new. Now every time I wanna do a sync I got the error message "unexpected error # 12" and an additional error message that there is an error with the joint library plus: „2<HotSync Manager><HotSync Manager><TransportLib>“

I couldn't locate this library.

What to do?

The Missing Sync for Palm OS substantially modifies the HotSync Manager and Transport Monitor. You need to reinstall the Missing Sync to perform these actions again, which should then prevent these Palm-generated errors from occurring. Any modifications to your conduit profiles should be made with the Missing Sync, and not the HotSync Manager.

Any issues with your calendar categories generated by the Palm Calendar Conduit and Tasks Conduit should have been dealt with using the Missing Sync, and not by removing or reinstalling components or preferences for the Palm Desktop itself. Once the Missing Sync for Palm OS has been installed, the Palm Desktop is really nothing more than a data store on your Macintosh, and has no other role in the synchronization process you perform using the Missing Sync for Palm OS and the standard Palm conduits.
