iPhone apps (Facebook and vimeo) crash when playing embedded videos

Hi everyone,

I have an iPhone 4 with IOS5.

The problem I'm having is that facebook and vimeo apps crash when tapping on "embedded" videos to play them.

If someone has published a link to a video on facebook I can click and watch it, but if the link is to play the video directly on the timeline, then the app crashes when clicking on it.

On vimeo app, all videos are shown like "embedded" and clicking on any video makes the app crash.

Any ideas on how to solve this issue?

As with a problem with a 3rd party app on your computer, you need to contact the app developer regarding a problem with their iOS app on an iPhone or iOS device.

hi Allan, the thing is that this exact problem happening in 2 different apps so I believe the problem is not on the app but in the iOS or iPhone.

You're welcome and you are wrong.

Apple has nothing whatsoever to do with the function of a 3rd party app crashing.

Well I will wait for someone that will be glad to help whoever is the responsible for this crashes.

I've seen a lot of people in this forum answering the peoples requests without caring on if the problem is Apple's or whoever...

You are not listening.

No one here can help with the function of a 3rd party app that is crashing. That is the responsibility of the 3rd party app developer. You need to contact FaceBook and Vimeo customer/technical support to report this problem with their apps.
