My lock button is playing up. I have to press it 3/4 and sometimes up to 5 times to lock the phone, would I have to go into apple and see if they could repair it or could you go in and swap it with a new one because I'm still in my warranty?

Make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby. If determined this is a hardware failure and not caused by abuse or accidental damage and the iPhone remains under warranty, it should be exchanged under warranty. Every warranty claim is on a case by case basis.
