iBooks Author Show Scrolling Theme In Preview?

Does anyone know how to get iBooks Author to show the new scrolling theme (found in iBooks 3.0) in landscape in Preview? I talked with a Senior Specialist at Apple today (51 min convo) and he said it might have to do with preview only being in a PDF format. He's calling me on Wednesday to confirm. I have Author 2.0 and iBooks 3.0 (newest update).

Why I need it in Preview is because I'm copying and pasting the Bible into iOS Pages and removing references/footnotes because the clutter takes away from the text. I won't be publishing the book and I wanted to scroll through it in landscape like I do any other iBook.
