I used to be able to move my dock icons by dragging and dropping. Not any more. How can they be rearranged or moved now?

I used to be able to rearrange my dock icons by dragging and dropping along the dock. Not any more. What is the new method for OS X 10.7.5?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
