Hot, repetitive clicking/ticking noise lower left MBP Early 2011

Hey,

My 13" Early 2011 macbook pro has recently been getting really hot on the left side. Also there is this repetitive clicking/ticking noise in the lower left of it. Has anyone else had this issue? Can you tell me what might be wrong?

I read that it's probably the Hard Drive, but I also read the hard drive is in the lower left corner and another site said it was located in the lower right? Where is that located?
