Does the sms cache come back after a restore and back up from icloud

My phone is running sluggish and I want to do a restore. In addition to this I would like to get rid of my old deleted messages that still appear in spotlight search. I'm

Not country in the same country as my mac so I can't back up via iTunes. I was going to back up with icloud and imatch. I have two concerns though before I do this.

1. Will all my old sms caches just come back with all those deleted messages I had. Are they saved in my last back up or will they disappear as there saved to the phone itself (which will be wiped via the restore0)?

2. Secondly I want to get my old music back and as I'm away from home for over a year I need to do this via imatch. Will my imatch subscription still work and will it bring in all my music I had previously.
