So I have an iPhone 5 and today it developed odd habits. One of which is it doesnt want to charge and another is it shuts down by itself after 5 minutes of being idle or being used. Its on iOS 6.1.3. When it shuts down, the screen doesnt just go black, it fades then has weird pixely lines everywhere on the screen then fades to black. What should I do?

First thing to try is a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple logo.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
