Automatically opening files?

Hi guys,

These past few days, OSX has been behaving a little strangely and I'm not sure what the culprit it.

Sometimes I'll move a file from one HD to another and once it's moved, it will automatically open the file. It's proving to be extremely annoying since I have absolutely no idea why it's doing it!

Any ideas?
