In the absence of an edit procedure, messagse repeated and making more sense after removing typos.
After transferring a film from a VHS tape into FCP6, and halfway through the editing, I found that the audio had diminished in strength and I could hardly hear it despite applying maximum strength to it via the FCP audio control. I chose Modify and Audio then "Apply normalisation . . . strength 5" and found I'd got the buzz. Turned it back to original settings. Audio still louder but with the buzz. Can anyone explain what I should do to obtain normal audio stregth without this horrible buzz? T.I.A.

1- Apply the "Gain" filter to increase low volume.
2a- Apply the Hum Remover.
2b- Take it into STP and apply Noise Reduction.

2b- Take it into STP and apply Noise Reduction. Did the trick on the second attempt. Ta.
