iPad 4 not syncing with OS X 10.6.8

I've just got a iPad 4 and I am not able to sync with the music in my iTunes - 11.0.2 (26), using a MBP OS X 10.6.8.

When i tick the music that i want to sync, click Apply =

"Syncing ...iPad --------> Preparing sync -------> Determining tracks to sync ------> Finish sync "

I'm syncing a larger volume of songs (5GB) and it only took 3 seconds.

Checked my iPad and nothing in.

Need some help.
