Can I use my Verizon iPhone 5 on T-Mobile? T-MOBILE says yes, as they came unlocked from the carrier. 1 phone for all carriers. So basicly I put in my t mobile sim card into my verizion phone and im good to go? I called apple and I was told no. Has anyone done this? Has it worked?

If the phone is unlocked, then yes. Otherwise, Verizon would have to unlock the phone.
The GSM side of the Verizon iPhone is unlocked but whether that phone will work optimally with T-Mobiles frequency and AWS is doubtful. Take it by a T-Mobile Store and try it.
I did try it, sorta..... I got a sim card from t mobile, put it in and was able to get voice (actually sounded better) than Verizion. But i was not able to get data. When i contacted t mobile I got about 100 differenct reasons why from they forgot to add data, to, I just need to plug it into itunes to update the carrier settings, to yes it will work , to no it wont. Each person tells a different story.
Then I would stick with Verizon.

Anyway, when trying to use T-Mobile, go to Settings > General > Cellular > Cellular Data Network, is the APN listed as epc.t-mobile.com?
I have no idea as i can't get it to work now, as the sim card is not activated.
The phone should work on TMobile. However, you will only get 3G speeds, not 4G LTE.
That is what t-mobile said too, but apple said no, as it will alwys try to connect to the cdma carrier by default. I have known in the past that people can be misinformed, even apple support ( as shocking as that may be).
