Audio problem with one episode of iTunes tv show on two apple tvs but audio works fine on same show on iMac

Updated my AppleTV last night with latest software update. Completly lost sound through my home theater system. Only hear audio on the TV. So frustrating!

I am having the same problem on my Apple TV for the same Doctor Who episode. The hissing sound makes the show unwatchable.

Turning off Dolby Digital fixed it for me.

If other episodes play Dolby Digital fine this could be a file encoding problem - they sometimes get it wrong.

This is the EXACT episode I am having the EXACT same problem with!

Turned off the Digital Dolby and it fixed the audio problem. Hope they re-encode this episode.

I have the same problem with "Hide." Tried it on different TVs and different Apple TV units. It works on my iPad, however. It is a audio coding problem for Apple TV. Otherwise nothing is different from last week's episode on my equipment here, so it is a problem with this file.

Same problem here. I'd rather the encoding gets fixed so I don't have to fiddle with my entertainment system settings. I, too, emailed my support issue to Apple. I hope they fix it soon. I'm anxious to watch it.

Mine is doing the exact same thing..

Same here with the same episode. Only difference is on my Apple TV I have the static for that episode, but on my parents the episode plays fine.
