My Ipod touch will not sync with itunes...

My Ipod touch will not sync with itunes...

Although the syncing begins, it only gets to 'starting sync' then it freezes and will not continue, then itunes crashes, please help!

also has this error message: itunes was unable to load data class information from Sync Services.

Now also:

iTunes for Windows: "Unable to load data class" or "Unable to load provider data" sync services alert
