iTunes missing a lot of options/tabs and can't sync anything

So I have been having this problem for a year now, I gave up a long time ago and stopped using iTunes altogether due to its stupid function. I hate relying on Pandora for music. I just want to add at least ONE **** SONG in my iPhone, but the syncing does not work and all of the tutorials display an iTunes screen that I don't even have. The tutorials show these options and where to click and stuff BUT I DON'T HAVE THAT.

I have clicked everywhere and can't find Summary or options OR even the sync button. This is really irritating and I am just done with Apple and their ****. Please, for the love of god, stop making easy things so difficult.
